Week 1: GP

Week one is all about understanding the basics of menopause: what it means, what happens to your body and what are your options when it comes to treatment. In preparation for your first session, watch the video below and take note of any additional questions you have.

Week 2: Nurition

Week two is focused on diet and nutrition during the menopause. How what and how you eat can impact your health, weight, and symptoms.

Please bring a pen and paper and make sure to complete 2-4 days of your food diary to get the most of the session.

Week 3: Physiotherapy

Week three is focused on sexual health and pelvic floor health during the menopause. Symptoms associated with sex and bladder and bowel health are very common, but not as commonly talked about. These symptoms are usually treatable with non-invasive methods with the help of a physiotherapist.

Week 4: Start emotional Fitness ACT Programme

Week 5: Goal-setting

Last week we learnt how thoughts and feelings affect our actions, and when we are ‘hooked’ by these thoughts, this can lead to undesirable actions. This week we will set some goals and think about the things that are important in our lives.
